2 fire appliances from Frome and 1 from Bradford On Avon (Dorset & Wiltshire FRS) were mobilised following a request from Police for our assistance to a 2 vehicle RTC, car vs a van, where one of the vehicles had come into contact with a telegraph pole and a driver was trapped.

On arrival crews confirmed this to be the case and set to work stabilising the vehicles, before commencing extrication of a male casualty with hydraulic cutting equipment. Once released the casualty was left in the care of paramedics, whilst crews made the vehicles and scene safe. Duty of care was left with the Police and the electricity board were requested to make electric cables safe, due to the impact and position of the telegraph pole. There were no other casualties and these are the full and final details.
