Avon & Somerset Police are holding a rural crime prevention session and meet the Chief Constable event at Frome livestock market on Wednesday 28 June 9am-12.15pm.

They say, this is a great chance to learn how best to prevent theft on your farm.

Adding : We will be providing a limited number of agricultural trailer marking kits, free of charge, to attendees at the market – thanks to our colleagues at National Farmers Union (NFU) and Datatag. One of the best ways to deter criminals is to ensure farm vehicles are marked using security or forensic markings.

There will be a Q & A with Avon and Somerset Police Chief Constable Sarah Crew and representatives from the NFU. This will be a chance for the farming and rural community to pose their questions to the Chief and the Rural Affairs Unit.
