Only this popular petrol station will be shutting up for renovations

Frome Nub News wants to clarify after a lot of comments about an earlier news story we put up.

Sainsbury's in Frome is ONLY shutting the petrol forecourt and its adjacent shop from March 22 , NOT the main supermarket.

The main store is over 30 years old but it is the petrol station part which has been found to have need of renovation.

The company has confirmed to Nub News it will shut on March 22.

Frome Nub News will also be sent more details about the plans when the company releases them, but for the moment all the company can say is that staff will be deployed elsewhere.

In a statement they told us: " We are investing in our store and will need to close to customers to undergo the works from 22nd March until the end of May.

"During this time colleagues will be redeployed to other areas across the business.

"At this stage we don't have any imagery or specific details of the works to share though will keep you updated so you can share with your readers."
