This year for the second time Frome will be awash with kindness with the return of the second Kindness Festival March 5-11.

If you can be anything be kind, it is said, but the Festival, organised by the Good Heart, aims to give good solid reasons why kindness really does matter.

One key event, on March 7, at Frome Town Hall, The Science of Kindness, hosted by Professor Robin Banerjee who was one of those who led the largest ever scientific study into why, and what, kindness could account for. That starts at 7pm and is for donation-only entry.

Obviously there will be a lot of kindness being spread around too at the return of the Frome Independent on March 5. That will include some kindness flash mob dancing with Frome's very own Mojo. Details of the moves to a singalong to Harry Styles HERE

Throughout the week there will be decorations around town including messages of hope and support in jam jars, on pebbles and on bunting in Frome.
