This evening (November 3) it is the last match you might be able to watch, at least from the stands, as Frome Town take on Totton at a league match up at The Robins' Nest.

Nub News understands that both sides were offered the option by the Southern League of calling off the game, and both declined.

The club has put out an impassioned plea to help the club by coming to watch - or if that is not possible - buying a ticket - to help them financially.

They wrote to all fans to explain that : " The club has been surviving (not thriving) during the last few months and we will need all of your support to help see us through this next tough period for all involved in sport. Unfortunately, there is so much that's out of our control.

" We would like you to consider how you can help the club at this time. We know we have capacity for at least another 100 people to come and watch safely, which could be another boost to help see the club through the next few weeks.

" Please come to watch the team on Tuesday. Help encourage those that enjoy football to come and watch. This is the last chance for the club to generate income from matchday until lockdown is over."

The club asked that if you can't make the match, you can donate a ticket and they will split the proceeds with Fair Frome or just donate the money directly. They sign off with a hope that they will see " you all again before Christmas."

The game is at 9:45 at Badgers Hill, 48 Berkley Road, Frome which is postcode A11 2EH.

Yesterday (November 2) the draw was made for the next round of the FA Trophy, with Frome through following their solid three nil victory at the weekend. Frome has been drawn against North Leigh on November 14. If that game goes ahead it will be at the Oxfordshire ground.
