Frome Town FC are calling it "squeaky bum time" - just one day to go to their playoff semi-final.

A thumping last day win against Lymington.

The score Lymington Town 0-5 Frome

A Jon Davies hat-trick ensured Frome ended the regular season in style thanks to a commanding win. A dominant second-half performance saw Davies strike twice more after converting a first-half penalty, and substitutes Marcus Mapstone and Harry Baker also managed to find the net.

That left Frome in a second place finish, only behind Plymouth Parkway. Congratulations to them for their promotion. It's time now to focus Frome's chance in the first playoff match to get ourselves back up into the prem.

Tuesday night brings a home clash vs Bristol Manor Farm. Having played them recently it's going to be a feisty affair and one that needs to be settled on the night, with extra time and penalties if required. The winner goes onto the final on Monday 2nd. If Frome win, they will be at home again vs the winner of Cirencester vs Winchester.

Tickets are available online now. HERE: Kick off at 19:45

Meantime the man of the season for the team ( and Frome Nub News choice too ) was Jon Davies who scored three of those goals on Saturday.

Congratulations Jon.
