The owners of a bed and breakfast close to Frome have put out an appeal to get back a special statue.

The owners of Knoll Hill Farm in Trudoxhill have had the big life sized statue stolen from the grounds of their property.

They posted on social media that it was a new statue of a stag and explained that it was a gift from regular guests at The Place To Stay in memory of their mother who passed away this year.

They wrote: " If the person who took this sees this post, please do the decent thing and return our Stag to us.

"Should anyone see our Stag or know of its whereabouts, could they please ring Joss on 01373 836880. "
