Since Storm Eunice arrived on Friday, the Somerset Highways team have attended 258 fallen tree-related incidents across the county.

As of 7am today, (February 21) 242 of these issues have been cleared - the rest are being attended to right now.

Now they are dealing with Storm Franklin and so they are understandably asking divers and walkers to stay extra vigilant.

Today South Western trains said it would be better for train travellers to delay their journey for a day unless it is absolutely necessary.
