A reminder that on February 1 Frome College will be closed due to strike action.

And on Wednesday and then on Friday, GWR, one of the train companies which serves Frome station is also out.

The company is warning that there will be virtually no services on the vast majority of the network on Wednesday (1 February) and Friday (3 February).

Tickets for 1, 2 and 3 February can be used the day before, or up to and including Tuesday 7 February.

And in case you missed it, over 80 per cent of members of the Fire Brigades Union have voted to go on strike, following a ballot last month.

The Union said it will not announce any dates until after it meets employers.
