Local solicitors Thatcher + Hallam has passed it's annual Lexcel accreditation, with the review described as 'excellent, with a high level of compliance against the standards'.

Lexcel is a legal practice quality mark, introduced by the Law Society, which indicates whether a law firm has achieved sufficient quality for matters including client care, compliance and practice management.

William Weller, Managing Partner at the firm, said, "We are delighted to have received what is arguably our best over Lexcel review. It's been a challenging year for the team and people have had to adapt and change their ways of working, so to receive such positive feedback feels particularly pertinent at this time."

The review indicated that Thatcher + Hallam has managed it's response to the pandemic in an impressive way, and it also highlighted that a focus on areas of risk, such as cybercrime and money laundering, was being well managed.

"The annual Lexcel accreditation is our opportunity to demonstrate that we meet the highest customer care and management standards. This is something we take pride in day in day out and I am grateful to all the team for their efforts in ensuring this happens, but also that we could demonstrate it during the accreditation process," added William. "We are also pleased that the review summarised that the communication, support and flexible approach to working that we have in place across the organisation was obvious. This way of working is key in ensuring our staff are well looked after and that our clients receive the best possible service from the team."
