The beginning of eleven weeks' work in the centre of Frome today June 22

By Susie Watkins 22nd Jun 2020

Work began, as agreed, on engineering in the centre of Frome, with motorists warned to expect 11 weeks of disruption.

But businesses were making the most of the road being closed, and many more have re-opened or are planning to.

The charity shop Blue Cross in the Westway will be opening fully on July 1.

But in anticipation of getting in lots more donations and stock it was today (June 22) having a clear out, offering bargain bags for just £1.
