Somerset Skills & Learning (SS&L) are pleased to announce they'll be offering beauty qualifications from this summer, after recently purchasing the long established and popular Cloud 9 Beauty Clinic on Palmer Street in Frome.

The beauty clinic re-opened in April and established beauty therapist, Kate Mines, is continuing to provide treatments for new and existing customers. Kate previously owned Cloud 9, along with her business partner, and has worked as a beauty therapist for over 25 years.

Kate's really excited about the new plans and said: "It's great to start this new chapter with SS&L and have the opportunity to be part of a business that will provide high quality training for future beauty therapists."

Cloud 9 is one of a few exclusive Guinot beauty clinics, (a brand offering an alternative to aesthetic medicine and renowned for their prestigious facial and body care treatments). The clinic's reputation has led to people travelling from across the region to access the treatments in Frome, where there are over 40 available including nails, massages, facials, electrolysis, waxing and more.

Alongside Kate, a Beauty Tutor will support the new generation of beauty therapists, who will train for their qualifications whilst having access to a working beauty clinic. The course offer will be released by SS&L in the coming months and Cloud 9 will be used by learners for practical training when not being used by clients.
