Frome Medical Practice is taking part in The Great Big Green Week, and is offering a series of events that the public is invited to take part in. The week is the UK's biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature and a full programme of events has been organised in Frome across the course of the week.

Community Sustainability Lead at the practice, Charlotte Carson, said, "We're big fans of the Great Big Green Week as it's a way of celebrating all the hard work that is taking place on climate change locally. It's also an opportunity to bring an important topic to the attention of more people, whilst taking a moment to highlight the wonderful things going on here on our doorstep, all the time knowing that other communities are connecting on climate change issues across the country too."

"We've put on a selection of events to encourage discussion on the win-wins of climate and health and to help increase knowledge of the subject, and we also want to share some of the work we are doing as a practice to address climate change. Please take a look at our events, as well as the wider programme of events taking place in Frome, and come along and say hello!"
