The price of a cheeseburger goes up at McDonald's for the first time in 14 years

The fast food chain McDonald's which has a branch in Wessex Fields in Frome has put up price of cheeseburger for first time in 14 years.
It is not the only increase in prices by the chain.
Most of its UK restaurants are adding between 10p and 20p to a number of items blaming increasing costs including fuel and energy, although it will vary since many McDonalds are run by way of a franchise, so the owners can make individual decisions based on the parent company recommendations.
But the cheese burger will increase from 99p to £1.19.
