Thirteen unlucky as Frome RFC thirds take on Huish Tigers

The Frome RFC 3rd XV were back in league action on Saturday when they travelled to league leaders Huish Tigers in the rearranged Somerset 3 South fixture.

Travelling with only 13 players, it was always going to be a tough ask of the 3rd XV players, but they must hold their heads high as they put in a sterling performance. The the visitors were able to hold the home side to a 35-7 score at Half Time, with Frome being able to get across the whitewash with a converted try.

The Tigers ran away to victory in the second half with a final score of Huish Tigers 63-7 Frome RFC III

Player of The Match went to Academy Player Sam Cassidy. This Saturday the 3rd XV welcome Tor RFC 2nd XV to The Lane.
