The three weeks of work on the main road from Frome to Radstock, designed to cut flooding at the low spot just past Buckland Dinham, has, say motorists, not solved the problem.

The work by engineers took much longer than originally scheduled, with drivers frustrated at the total closure of the A362.

The long diversion led many to ignore closure signs.

Somerset Council were responsible for the works but it seems that they have not been effective.

During heavy rain (December 29) scores of drivers reported that this section pictured was once again flooding.
