The Wells Festival of Literature has confirmed its 2023 programme, which is set to take place from the 27th of October to the 4th of November at Cedars Hall.

With the festival's schedule now available to the public and brochures disseminated throughout town, tickets have been officially released for sale.

The upcoming festival's line-up includes a significant addition: Richard Mainwaring, known as the 'frequency guy' for his memorable presentation at last year's event, Everybody Hertz, will be engaging in a conversation with Luke O'Neill. O'Neill, a world-renowned immunologist, will discuss his new book, To Boldly Go Where No Book Has Gone Before.

This event will provide attendees with an opportunity to delve into an array of science-related topics in an accessible and enjoyable format.

The discussion between Mainwaring and O'Neill is scheduled for 6pm on Monday, the 30th of October. Tickets for this and other festival events are now available for purchase.

To book tickets, interested parties can visit the festival's website, and for those who prefer telephone booking, the line is open from 9.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, at 01749 834483.

Please note that a booking administration fee of £1 per ticket applies to all Festival events. This fee applies to both discounted tickets for students and friends, as well as standard full-price purchases. For more information regarding the festival's ticketing policies, full details can be found on the festival's official website.

With the programme now confirmed and ticket sales underway, those interested in attending the Wells Festival of Literature are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly.
