Frome Toy Library Stay-and-Plays Popping Up In and Out of Town

Frome Toy Library, part of Purple Elephant, is popping up all over the place.

In an ordinary week, as well offering hundreds of carefully selected games and toys for children to Loan-at-Home, the Toy Library usually runs two stay-and-play sessions in two regular town centre venues. However, this February and March the baby, toddler and pre-school fun will be on the road including setting up in two local villages.

Toy Library Stay-and-Plays (which must be booked ahead as are limited in size) will be appearing on Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm at The Hub in Coleford on 23 Feb., at RISE on Whittox Lane on 2 March and at Chilcompton Village Hall on 9 March.

The play sessions are free to attend with a suggested donation of £1 per child. They are a wonderful opportunity to meet parents, carers and other little ones. Anyone wishing to know more about how to borrow Toy Library toys all year round can also enquire about membership.

Those looking to access early-years parenting support and advice will be able to speak with the organisation's support worker who will be on hand to offer advice about local services.

Booking essential.
