Traffic lights and delays on key road in Frome

UPDATED:

There were long delays midmorning today (November 6)

over a key roundabout on Christchurch Street East in Frome.

The road has not been marked for roadworks under Somerset Highways but there were lights on the corner of the roundabout where traffic heads down into centre of town and across to the Portway.

The work was another headache for motorists already having to be diverted due to the bridge over Rodden Road being closed for the next month.

But there should be some relief coming soon for drivers on this key route with the scaffolding along 15 Portway in Frome due to come down on November 12.
