TV legend Noel Edmonds has been pictured during a surprise visit back to the UK - serving customers in a local cafe.

The former Deal or No Deal presenter popped into the Victoria Park Community Cafe yesterday (11/09) while visiting family.

Staff at the venue in Frome, say he got stuck in making customer orders - including hot chocolates, flat whites and a cappuccino.

Sherry Anne Downes, who volunteers at the cafe, said everyone there was shocked to see him.

Ms Downes, 47, from Frome, said: "He was walking around the park with his family. Me being loud and bubbly, I made a point of introducing myself and said he fancied a coffee to pop in. He came in and cracked on, he served around six customers.

"He was an absolute angel, he was really lovely. The customers loved it, so much so they came in and ordered drinks.

"It was really relaxed, it was lovely that he took the time out to help us out."

After decades as a fixture on UK television and radio, Noel moved to New Zealand with wife Liz back in 2019.
