The National Education Union (NEU) have voted for two further days of strikes for Wednesday 5th July and Friday 7th July.

Frome College has warned parents and carers that given the number of teachers who are eligible to strike, the normal College day will be affected.

However there are some exceptions to pupils getting a day off.

Places at the College on both strike days for children of key workers can be booked through [email protected], while on both days places children linked to the Hub can be discussed with the SEND team through [email protected]

On the first day of strike action, so Wednesday 5th July, key groups of Year 10 students will be expected to attend College to catch up on any mock exams they may have missed and/or to complete work, while Year 9 will not attend. This will flip on the second strike day, Friday 7th July all of Year 9 will attend College, year 10 will stay away.
