Vallis School in Frome have been working tyrelessly to brighten up the environment and encourage pollinators

By Susie Watkins 16th Jun 2022

In Frome, the Vallis School Eco Council have recently been working with some Frome Family volunteers on developing the schools environment including areas like recycling and bio-diversity.

One of the most recent projects has seen the children and adults painting some old tyres and then planting them with a range of flowers, placing them round the school site. These colourful additions to the school site will hopefully attract lots of pollinators and insects and also brighten up areas of the school.

The tyres were donated by ETB Tyres on The Portway.
