Vehicle burnt out in what is believed to be a deliberate fire in Marston Bigot

If you heard the Frome fire crew out early this morning (December 14) they were on their way to Marston Bigot.

Fire control had a call at 4:50 am this morning about a vehicle fire on Smithwicks Lane, in Marston Bigot. Firefighters and one fire engine from Frome attended the incident.

On arrival the car was fully engulfed in fire, Fire crews got to work with one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampened down the remaining part of the vehicle.

The vehicle was completed destroyed with details then passed onto the police as officers ruled that it was thought to have been started deliberately.
