Vehicle Fire at A36 Beckington Roundabout, Beckington, Frome

Date: 15.01.2019Time: 15:10Location: A36 Beckington Roundabout, Beckington, FromeOne fire appliance from Trowbridge was mobilised to reports of a vehicle on fire at the above location. On arrival at the incident fire crews reported the vehicle well alight. Police were requested for traffic control. Fire crews extinguished the fire using 2 hosereel jets and 2 breathing apparatus wearers. The engine compartment of the vehicle was completely destroyed by fire leaving the remainder of the vehicle damaged by smoke. The cause of the fire was accidental.
