Vehicle Fire at Selwood Road, Frome

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received multiple calls reporting a vehicle fire at the above location.
Fire control immediately mobilised one fire appliance from Frome to attend this incident.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed the vehicle well alight. Crews got to work extinguishing the fire with a hose reel jet.
The vehicle was seventy percent damaged by fire. in addition a vehicle adjacent to this vehicle was ten percent damaged by the heat from the fire.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and the officer in charge has requested police attendance.
