The road has been awash for days - Park Road in Frome early today (August 16)

Roadworks finally started today (August 16) on a burst water main in the road alongside the Frome Town Council offices.

Locals told Nub News that water has been streaming down Park Road for at least a week.

It is understood that the road works will take at least two days with warnings of delays as Bristol Water work on the leak.
