Well done the duo: Frome RFC pair at Bath rugby PDG

A huge well done to both Murray and Rowan for their efforts representing the Bath Rugby Player Development Group (PDG) today against Bristol Bears at Millfield School.

There was some great rugby played today under very difficult circumstances. The rain was coming in sideways and there was definitely a kicking advantage due to the high winds.

Murray & Rowan both came on in the second half with Rowan playing at 6 and Murray playing both 4 & 7.

Both boys put in a mammoth effort to try and hold back a well organised and well disciplined Bristol Bears team.

Unfortunately Rowan had a try disallowed ten minutes before the end of the game that would have evened the score at that point. Murray was like a sniper, taking down anyone that came within arm's length.

The game ended up finishing 17-5 in Bristol's favour.

Hugely proud of the boys and keeping fingers crossed that they've both done enough to secure automatic selection to play for Bath PDG against Exeter Chiefs in March.
