Frome jeweller Daniel Musselwhite is one of the three finalists for the national competition, All That Glitters - the television hunt to find the next star designer.

And thanks to the publicity, along with growing public awareness that having bespoke jewellery can be extra special, he is rushed off his feet.

Dan's whose solid and unflappable disposition has made him a firm favourite in the TV series, will not be drawn on the final result. He is in the final three from a line up of eight designers, from across the country, who have to create unique pieces in a general challenge and then take a brief from a customer for a special piece to make a ring or locket for a special occasion.

This week it was his design for an engagement ring which saw him placed in the final.

During the programme, there were plenty of dramas, but Dan who works out of the Swan Arts complex in Frome, announced: " It is not worth crying over."

The final will be show on BBC 2, on May 18 at 21:00 when the three finalists battle it out for the title as they make a pair of pearl earrings and a bridal headpiece.

You can see some of forty year old Dan's designs on his Instagram account @danielmusselwhitejewellery

Good luck Dan !
