Frome Post Office is to re-open on Monday 23 August at 10am at the previous location of 7 – 9 West Way, Frome.

The branch closed in June 2021 following the resignation of the partners, Radstock Co-Op.

But today the Post Office sent a press release to Nub News.

It said:

We are pleased to be able to reinstate a temporary Post Office services to the local community, whilst we continue to seek a permanent solution.

The opening hours will be Monday to Friday: 10am – 3.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.

Antoinette Chitty, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: "We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to be restoring a temporary service in Frome whilst we continue to seek a permanent solution."
