The Cheese and Grain are putting on a Humanitarian Benefit show forUkraineon Saturday 30thApril. 

Local musicians have come together to bring you a jammed packed night of entertainment to support Frome Town Council's Twin Town Ukraine refugee appeal: 

Headlining the night are The Back Wood Redeemers a dark country twisted blues bandHailing from deepest Somerset. 

Also on the bill are: Local Indie Band Mighty One, 80's post pop punk band Back of the Bus, 

Classic Punk Rockers The Raggedy Men, Folk Rock Musician Henry Wacey and DJ Patmandu bringing you top beats. 

All proceeds from the event to be donated to the fantastic Frome Town Council's twin Town Ukrainian refugee appeal. 

Frome Town Council said: "  

"We have been touched by the plight ofUkraine, and the humanitarian crisis of civilians hoping to escape invasion. Frome Town Council have been approached by our twin townRabka-Zdrój, as they prepare to take in refugees." 

Frome Town Council has already pledged £5,000 but it costs £10 per day to accommodate Ukrainian refugees inRabkaand £20 per day if you include food, so they will need further help.

On Friday 29th April they are are also hosting a BIG SING Ukraine fundraiser: 

Jackdaws Songbirds (Frome), Sounding it Out (Trowbridge), and Shreen Harmony (Mere) unite for an evening of acapella singing and solidarity with Ukraine. Expect rousing and joyful informal performances from 100+ singers led by local choir leader Caroline Radcliffe, including songs from around the world, through the ages, and a special Ukrainian song. Hei!
