Are you feeling clever ? It is the big Frome quiz night up at the town rugby club on Friday. All in a good cause too. Details HERE

On Saturday, another date with vinyl. The record fair at the Cheese & Grain details HERE

Also on Saturday - the final show of the Woodlanders HERE for a matinee performance. They promise two hours of entertainment that will transport to you back to 'the good ole days', so why don't you come along, sit back and relax in the intimate 'cabaret' style seating ?

Then on Sunday if you feel like venturing a bit further afield there is this putting Wells in a spin. Along with cookery sessions for the youngest chefs in the house.

The Wells Food Festival will have 200 stalls in the Artisan Market, showcasing and selling their culinary delights, with mouth watering inspiration from around the world, created using local ingredients.

New exciting events include the Charlie Bigham's Plate Spinning Championship, situated in the Recreation Ground. Give plate spinning a whirl in this new festival competition and the winner will receive dinner for two for a whole year on Charlie Bigham's.

Remember you can list your event for FREE just push the Nub It button here.

And a date for your big book diary - if you have boots and like walking - why not join the The Times Walking Correspondent, Chris Somerville in Frome - he is certain to be a popular guest of the Independent book shop Hunting Raven. Details HERE
