Frome Town football fans have been reacting with delight to the news that they are through to the next round of a footballing cup.

The team are through to the Buildbase UK FA Trophy second round tie and tickets go on sale tonight (December 9) at 7pm.

Not only, according to one super fan, is it the furthest the team has been in 35 years, it will be the first home game up at the Robins Nest in over a month. They Tweeted their delight with one writing :

"To say I'm excited would be an understatement ! Let's go!"

The Robins will be playing Hampton & Richmond Borough Football Club on Tuesday December 15 at 7.45 pm.
