Frome RFC is supporting WHY as its charity partner this season.

The rugby club and the Frome-based charity built a close relationship last season, and they are hoping to strengthen the partnership further during the 2019/20 campaign.

WHY is a superb local charity and we're proud to do 'our bit' to support their invaluable work in the commmunity.

A spokesperson for Frome RFC said: "We were delighted to welcome Rachel Clark and her fellow runners to The Lane last week and to present our £1,500 donation to them.

"It was again thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, players and members that we were able to make this sizeable donation, and my gratitude goes to them.

"It's the determination of Frome RFC to stay at the heart of its community and to forge long-lasting relationships with worthy causes such as WHY.

"We look forward to seeing Rachel at The Lane again tomorrow (September 22) for a run with our wonderful Mini and Junior section."

WHY stands for We Hear You and the charity works across Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset and Wiltshire providing emotional support to patients, families, friends and carers who have been affected by cancer or any other life-threatening condition.
