The national clothing brand White Stuff has featured ladies from Frome as part of its promotion of International Women's Day.

White Stuff sent photos of the ladies to all its customers last week and profiled the group on its social media Instagram page.

Their story : "It's a sunny day in Somerset, and we've found ourselves in the town of Frome to meet the ladies of Frome Women's Shed.

"They're all about having a supportive space to make new things. From friendships to bird boxes. (And the odd giant Jenga.) We sat down for a chat with them about helping the local community. And why every day should be International Women's Day. "

The White Stuff sells clothing, accessories, homeware and gifts in over 120 shops in the United Kingdom and shops in Germany, although, as the name may suggest, it began in 1985 as a brand on the ski slopes of Val-d'Isere in France.
