It has been left to wilderness now this key Frome site is being cleared today (November 30) in anticipation of building work finally being started.

The Vallis site is earmarked for over 60 homes.

Frome Nub News made enquiries about what was happening to the site, billed as sustainable housing, two years ago.

Now it seems with diggers and lorries in, it is being cleared.

Work has to begin here by March 2022, details under planning application 2017/0722/FUL. A round up of all other current housing plans in and around Frome can be seen here: A report from Mendip in January 2021
