You Make It Better!
You Make It Better!

Boasting Horn Lines from the HM Forces Band of the Scots Guards, an ARIA no1 selling artist, a former member of Noah and the Whale - plus the lead singer of Brand New Zeroes (and little brother of Elvis Costello) - among 24 singers and musicians from Frome, Somerset and the South West who all gave their time freely.

"You Make It Better" is a toe tapping, smile spreading song that pays tribute to the people putting their lives on the line to keep us safe.

The "You Make It Better" project led by musician Dave Turner of Frome and contributions from many Frome and Somerset musicians from the Frome Music Industry Network has delivered the collective recording of this original song made up of over 100 audio tracks all recorded in isolation, professionally produced, mastered and video edited by a team that number Bastille, Lekan Babalola, The 1975, Years and Years and Steve Frobert among their former clients.

The intention is to raise funds for NHS Charities Together during the Covid-19 crisis and celebrate NHS key workers.

Launched online on all social media platforms from 7pm on Thursday 7th May and on all major streaming services from Friday 8th May.

The video is posted on Youtube with a Just Giving link for donations that go straight to the NHS; the song will be played on Music Eye Radio on Frome FM 96.6 at 16:00 on 9th May and Magpie's Folk Cafe on Frome FM at 7 pm on 10th May.
