You’re in for some treats (and maybe a few tricks) this October half term in Frome

Halloween and half term are both just around the corner! With them, a wide variety of events and activities in and around Frome to keep the whole family entertained during the holiday. We've selected a few, but for the full run-down, head to Discover Frome's October Half Term Round Up.
Throughout October: Pick Your Own Pumpkins
There are a few places in and around Frome that offer this fantastic activity for all to enjoy. Check out Palette and Pasture or Eastcote Farm for a few examples of Somerset's finest pumpkin patches. Book your tickets and make the most of your time slots – go pumpkin crazy! Both locations are open every weekend and then every day from 20th October until 29th October.
24th-26th October: Liberty Gymnastics Club October Half Term Fun Days
Sign up your school-aged child for a Liberty Gymnastics Fun Day! Available on three dates, the fun day will involve lots of play and high energy activities to tire those kids out. From gymnastics to arts and crafts to games, what better way to keep them entertained this half term?
25th – 27th October: Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership sports activities
Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership (SASP) are hosting multiple sports activities throughout the October half term. They are providing free access to the AstroTurf pitch and sports hall at Frome Leisure Centre for children aged 11-16, on 25th October from 10am-2pm. They also have a half term football camp on 27th October for children aged 5-12. Plenty of time to run around and make new friends!
27th October: Kids Halloween Party
Join Frome Town United Football Club for a ghoulish evening of apple bobbing, pumpkin designing, best fancy dress-ing and more! Head along to the Clubhouse from 6pm-8pm.
29th October: Danceworks Halloween Musical Theatre Workshop
Danceworks will be running a Halloween-themed musical theatre workshop on Sunday 29th October from 2pm-5pm for children reception age and over, with the opportunity to learn Halloween songs and spooky moves! Halloween costumes also encouraged, just make sure the footwear is suitable for spook-tastic dancing.
29th October: Not So Scary Halloween Party
Head to the Assembly Rooms at the Memorial Theatre for the Not So Scary Halloween party, 2:30pm-5pm, complete with disco, buffet and prizes for best Halloween costume. All children will go home with a gift. Well-behaved adults are welcome to attend too – tickets are £8.50 for children and adults go free.
