Frome Town Council’s Communities team have organised two low-cost sessions this winter, to help community groups, charities and voluntary organisations.
On Friday 22 November from 5pm to 7pm, the town gathers for the annual lantern parade and Christmas lights switch on in Frome.
The garden adjoins the Key Centre on Feltham Lane, a former Sure Start centre owned by Somerset Council.
The gritters, soon to join the council’s winter fleet, are to be named Gritty Gritty Bang Bang and Spready Mercury.
