In September, Frome will welcome up to 30 visitors from each of its three twinned towns in France, Germany and Poland.
This means Frome Town Council and Frome Twinning Association are on a mission to find homes for up to 90 guests who will be taking part in a number of planned activities and events, including the carnival, to unite the towns.
Businesses in Frome are being invited to learn more about the huge benefits of saving energy at the next Business Breakfast.
With climate change making the headlines almost weekly, more and more organisations are looking for guidance and support to make the right changes for them. The Business Breakfast will be held at the Cheese & Grain on 5 June at 7am and will offer attendees simple, practical tips to help organisation's save energy and reduce their environmental impact.
The Frome Music Industry Network is set to have another gathering upstairs at the Three Swans in King Street, Frome on Thursday 23rd May from 7.30pm.
Local singer/songwriter, Sara Vian set up the "networking space for musicians and all industries associated with the music business" due to her understanding that people need to meet out of cyberspace to form real connection, share skills and resources, collaborate and support each other's projects and businesses in the old fashioned goodwill spirit of sharing a beer (or your drink of preference)!

Come talk to us during Foster Care Fortnight (Monday 13 to Sunday 26 May) and find out how you can 'mind the gap' between the high number of Somerset children we have in care and the number of foster carers needed.
To shout this message, the fostering team are embarking on a Fostering Roadshow; parking up at key locations across Somerset where foster carers are needed. Drop in to chat to staff and hear real-life experiences from foster carers.
