Frome's Grade II listed, former St John Ambulance training centre is up for sale. The building, which is on the corner of Bath Street and Palmer is huge, covering a total of over 3,300 square feet.

Deadline for offers for this commercial space is Monday 27th March by 12 noon to be given to Savills. To request more details click HERE , it is being marketed by the Wimborne branch with price on application.

The building was still being listed on the Frome Town Council site as offering training for St John Ambulance cadets, those aged 10-17, although Nub News understands training courses have been wound down there for some time.

In 2020, St John Ambulance announced it would close a third of its buildings as a cost-saving measure in response to the coronavirus crisis.

At the time the charity owned, or leased, a total of 352 buildings, 117 of which were being shut in an effort to close a £20m funding gap. Further buildings came in for a review later in 2021 to further cut the charity's losses.
