The Frome RFC U13s were in league action on Sunday when they welcomed Marlbourgh RFC to The Lane.

It would be the visitors who got off to a quick start, scoring two quick tries, but Frome replied quickly with two tries of their own.

The sides exchanged some great attacking and defensive sets and the half finished level at 4 tries a piece.

Unfortunately the second saw multiple errors which the visitors were able to capitalise on and eventually take the win. But as always there were huge positives to come from the game with Fromes skill set and ability increasing week on week.

Olly Van Gorph had a stand out first half, before having to leave the field and earned himself the Player of the Match Award.

Frome now have a break in fixtures before their upcoming tour in April.
