Community Events
UNTIL Sunday 29th October
A day of autumnal delights at Frome's Pumpkin Day: Harvest Swap and Food Festival. This event is all about celebrating food, and at the heart of it all is our Harvest Swap: Bring your homegrown treasures (fruits, nuts, veggies, flowers, plants, seeds, and homemade preserves) to share and swap with others!
You can explore a tantalizing array of stalls showcasing the best local food products, many from within 20 miles of the venue. Dive into the heart of the community food and growing projects that make our town so special and find your inspiration with free talks and workshops. We've got lots of kids' activities to keep them entertained. Artist Cherry Truluck will be there with her 'What grows together, goes together' food table, plus we're making a delicious hyperlocal food experience for your taste buds at lunchtime.

We're exploring food and growing with all the connections to our health and climate - there'll be loads to see and do about how our local food culture can inspire change that makes us and the planet better and tastier!
Whether you're a foodie, a family, or just someone looking for a fantastic day out, Pumpkin Day promises a wonderful experience. Let's come together to share our local abundance and strengthen our community connections.
Welcoming kids, low waged, students and UC for FREE, with a £3 donation for adults. All workshops and talks are free. Our event is supported through the National Lottery's Climate Action Fund.
