We are Launching our much anticipated Kids classes this February half term with our kids days!
Thursday 20th February – FROME at The Awesome Studio
10am - Early Years for children aged from 3-6. Children will meet Big Ted and learn about how to call 999, what to do with someone that wont wake up, how to stop germs getting into a cut, and how to treat a head bump too. All rounded off with special story time. All little ones will have an activity book to take home with them to continue their learning journey with their adults at home, a certificate to prove what super first aiders they have been and of course a very special sticker!
11am – Kids Class for children aged from 7-11. This is an Introduction to CPR, choking, recovery position, burns, breaks and wounds. With plenty of hands-on practice time it's a great interactive session that will prepare your children to know what to do in those emergency situations. Everyone receives a workbook that we start during the session but can be taken home to finish to continue their learning journey with their adults, a certificate to say how awesome they have been and of course a sticker too.
1pm – Teens Class for ages from 12-16. This class enables your Teen to deliver first aid if no adults were available. In the 2-hour session, Teens learn to carry out CPR and deal with choking, deal with an unconscious but breathing person, deal with head injuries, burns, breaks, bleeding, asthma attacks and allergic reactions. Everyone receives a workbook to be completed during and after the session as well as a certificate of completion to say how amazing they have been learning first aid. They are very welcome to have a sticker as well if they don't think they are too old for one…
