Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Lisa Betteridge- violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music. It's £3.50-£4 for a cake and a drink.

May's Café Concert programme is a collection of beautiful music by English composers of the late C19th and early twentieth centuries, among them Charles Villiers Stanford, Rebecca Clarke, Ernest Austin, and Dora Bright, a composer associated with Babington House.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance - or rather, exit(!) - is by donation. There's no need to book, just turn up - maybe bring a cushion for the pew.
