All the central Frome bank and building societies have cut or are in the process of cutting back their opening times in the light of the coronavirus.
But Barclays bank in the centre of the town has just put up a sign saying that due to circumstances beyond its control, it will be closing on March 30.
Nub News is currently unable to get clear details on what the reason is for the closure.
Although several insisted that the new times are on their web sites, most of them have taken to sticking up a sign in their windows.
Frome Nub News has taken photographs of as many bank opening times as possible to the show the latest opening hours as of 16:00 today (March 26).
Scroll right on each photo and zoom in to check the times which the banks are saying they will be open as from tomorrow.
All of them are enforcing strict social distancing rules with many asking only a maximium of two customers in the banks buildings themselves at any one time.
The banks have today (March 26) come in for criticism nationally for still imposing strict limits on lending to small and medium sized businesses.
Barclays still has on its web site that it will be open in Frome from 9:30 until 16:30.
But the sign posted on the window states that customers will need to use on line banking systems.
Measures to support businesses were announced on March 17. You can find out the details here:
