Nunney Parish Council has asked groups of visitors not to come into the village during lockdown.

They have posted that they are " very concerned " about the number of visitors still coming to Nunney adding that they have witnessed cars with multiple occupants meeting with friends and family.

In their social media post they went on to add : " Nunney is a village that has a lot of vulnerable residents. We would ask you to consider whether travelling to Nunney is really necessary and to consider those who live in the village. "

The council added " When this is all over we would love to welcome you back to enjoy the Castle and everything that Nunney has to offer."
