A new social media campaign is underway, firstly to find out what has happened to the Frome MP and secondly to remind constituents how he voted about river quality.

David Warburton has been absent from Frome - although insisting he is still working for constituents - for months.

Now Twitter is busy with news about how he voted on keeping rivers clean. Over 2,000 have liked a post saying: This is my MP David Warburton of Somerton and Frome, recognise him? He voted to allow sewage into watercourses and rivers in Oct '21, despite meeting with 'Friends of River Frome' in Jan '21 and telling them he would support private members bill to prevent sewage discharges. The Frome MP was first accused of

wrong doing when a newspaper published an image of him next to a tray with lines of power on it - alleged by the Sunday Times to be cocaine.

The paper published that photo and other allegations about his conduct including that he had received a loan of more than £100,000 from a Russian, on April 3, and the MP subsequently had the whip withdrawn.

His office later told Nub News he had been admitted to a psychiatric facility for stress.

He later said he was looking forward to returning to parliament. You can read about the latest allegations against him HERE
