The Secretary, Chair and Treasurer of the new Frome Drama Club committee welcome newcomers to join them.

Frome Drama club, the town's longest running amateur theatre group, is excited to announce its 2023 Season and will be marking the day by inviting anyone interested in theatre - either backstage or in staring roles - to join them at their Launch Evening on Monday 7th November at 7.30pm at the Merlin Theatre.

The event is open to newcomers or regular theatre enthusiasts, be they set-designers, prop-makers, actors, directors, producers or just those who have previously enjoyed taking part in the club's monthly play-readings. There will be an opportunity to join in sample script readings of the productions scheduled for 2023's (or simply listen, if you prefer not to read) for "Home, I'm Darling" by Laura Wade, "Celebration" by Harold Pinter and "Ragged Trousered Philanthropists" by Stephen Lowe.

The Directors for the three plays will be on-hand to answer questions and to set out their cast and crew requirements, and the committee look forward to meeting anyone interested in being a part of Frome Drama Club in what promises to be a fabulous 2023.
