This amazing lightning shot was captured by Frome photographer Tim Gander during the thunderstorm last night.

Tim, who runs takeagander.co.uk from his studio in Butts Hill, caught this fantastic image during the storm, which ran for a couple of hours around midnight and at one point saw flashes of lightning every couple of seconds.

It is set to be another hot day in Frome today, with temperatures up to 26C, with tomorrow being even hotter with a predicted high of 30C, before things cool down a bit to 21C by Sunday.
