The Frome bypass is scheduled to close for four nights in September to enable Somerset Highways to carry out resurfacing works.

The A361 from the Blatchbridge Roundabout to Vinney Lane will be shut from 6pm to 7am from September 9 to 12.

The diversion for local traffic will be along the B3092 into town, then back out along the B3090, The Butts and Marston Road, and vice versa for motorists travelling in the other direction.

All other traffic will be diverted along the A361, the B3090 through the centre of town, and then out again along The Butts and Marston Road, again reversed for drivers travelling from Shepton Mallet.
